Hello! Thank you for taking the time to visit our website.
Nicholas' career in Emergency Medical Services began in 2013 as a volunteer for a local ambulance association in the Central Connecticut area. He obtained his Connecticut EMT certification in 2015 and subsequently became a Nationally Registered Paramedic in 2020 after graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of New Haven Paramedicine Program. Throughout his undergraduate years, he had the unique opportunity to assist with development of a "Campus EMS" Supplemental First Responder service and even completed a Paramedicine internship abroad in Prato, Italy. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Nicholas continued his studies at the University of New Haven and graduated in the Spring of 2022 with a Master of Science degree in Emergency Management, concentrating on Fire & EMS Administration.
Nicholas' career experiences in public safety expand across multiple fields in both the State of Connecticut and State of New York. Nicholas spent many years during his collegiate and post-collegiate time serving the citizens of Litchfield County as a Public Safety Telecommunicator with a local municipality, ultimately transitioning to a Regional Dispatch Center which handled Medical, Fire, and Law Enforcement services for over 150,000 citizens. He has had the unique opportunity to work with and within many EMS systems, such as commercial, volunteer, municipal third-service, hospital-based, and regional intercept. These opportunities have awarded Nicholas the ability to see Emergency Medical Services delivery from virtually every angle. Having grown from a volunteer service, he find great great pleasure in working with and educating the members of local volunteer services.
Currently, Nicholas practices as a Paramedic in both Connecticut and New York, right in the heart of the Litchfield Hills and the Upper Hudson Valley / Capital District Region. Over the past few years he have assisted numerous local Fire and EMS agencies with training, initial education, consultation, and strategic planning.
